Posting this 2-3 months after the event because I wasn't bothered to import the pictures. And guess what? Still haven't done so, so..... yolo!
Iraq vs. Japan
First off, we (me, jason, thien, steven, mitchell) went to get Maccas and stopped at Richlands station to eat it... because uh... we needed a nice view ya kno? LOL. then left to the Suncorp Stadium. It took a while to find a spot, but we managed!
We had to enter at gate E, which was on the opposite side from where we were standing. After we entered, we went to find our seats straight away and saw Teddy there.
After the game, we dropped off someone, then headed to Bungle Bungle where Leanne was.
Australia vs. Korea Public
In the afternoon, the squad came by to pick me up and we headed to Indro to find some fangear. That failed... since everything was expensive. So we went to Kmart and saw these cheap $4 yellow polo's for school, however, they were see-through. LOL. We just left, and went to this Football store on the way out of Indro. We didn't get anything except for steven.
Went back to the residence of the Le's to find yellow/green clothing and get our swag on. im just kidding. don't kill me. LOL. We put on the hat and stuff that we bought the other day and took photos!
At about 4:30, we left the house to pick up Vivian and off we went. We managed to find parking easily since we new the spot from the day before. Walked to find some food to eat and ended up in Pitapit because every other store was packed.
The game itself was... alright. Obviously, cause Australia didn't win. We had so many opportunities to score but it never happened! :(. And, the Korean chants were SOOO much louder than us which was weird, because there was only 1 section of them. I wish they put on more of their star players... but oh well, no need to since they technically already qualified for quarter finals.
There was this one point in the game, where it seemed like Australia scored a goal (cause of the angle we were on). So, everyone stood up cheering... but then 1 second afterwards they confirmed it wasn't. But it looked so real, that even the people working behind the TV's thought it was a goal so they put it on the screen "GOAL". False hopes.
That's all.
Add me on Snapchat, I post pics of Tinkles and food. "Lvyzz" don't question me about the username.
