Hello, all!
The group decided to go hiking at Springbrook, and settled on doing the 4km Purling Brook Falls circuit because well... it was either 600m, 4km or 17km... and I don't think the girls were physically prepared for that yet. Anyways, in the morning we all met up at Maccas, got some breakfast and chilled for quite some time before actually leaving.
I went in Jershon's car with Danny, while Huy, Bessie, Sarah and Vi went in Anh's. We all decided to go at separately and meet each other there. All I can say is that Vodafone has the most shit reception out of all the providers... and guess who's on Vodafone!? Me and Danny!? And guess what else that means!? No GPS. Luckily we managed to find the way there. Travelling up to the actual place was so nice cause we passed so many nice sceneries.
Finally got up to the place and met up with the people from Anh's car & Mitch's. Okay, story time! Jershon was saying how he needed to pee, so we jokingly said go into the bushes. Even though there was a toilet 100m away. We told him that too, but I don't know if he heard us. Next thing you know, you see him going behind all the trees and bushes to do his business, we were all literally like wot the...
We were the biggest tourists out. I think we stopped at every place with a nice view for at least 5-10 minutes just to take photos. When we got to the half way point, some of us decided to go under the waterfall. But in order to do that, you had to cross all the rocks. and... guess who fell!? Yours truly. I slipped on a rock and landed on my hand and butt. Now I have a bruise. Vi also fell and bruised her thigh, ouch :(. Anyways, Vi, Danny, Anh & Jershon actually went under the waterfall to take a shower. I injured myself along the way so I stood and watched them ;). But yeah, it was so cold with the water flying at me, I don't know how they managed to actually go in.
After a while, we decided to continue along the track. We made it to the lookout and spent another 100 years taking photos. We finished the circuit by 1.30pm I think, which was faster than we expected. So, we decided to head to Surfers to grab some food. Anh's driving is on point. That is all I can say. :p Anyways, we had steak, and then decided to split up to do different things afterwards. Met back up with the people that were still there and got Ben & Jerry's. Chilled for a bit and yahh!
At night, we went back to Sunnybank to grab dinner even though we weren't hungry, but you know, if theres food, then you gotta eat! Well we ate at Kingsfood and literally sat there for 2 hours because we couldn't decide on what to do next/we were just not bothered. After eating, we played a game of "Never have I ever..." and guess who lost? Danny. Headed to play pool for 15 minutes or so, and then headed home.
