Met up with Alec, Anh and Thinh at Maccas, the headed off to pick up Mitch. We were playing music from Anh's phone since hers was the only one connected to the car. And she has some Sony phone that I don't know how to use. This song came on, and I saw a little text at the bottom of the screen so I read it out loud to someone, assuming that they were some rap lyrics. Nope, I was wrong. It was a Facebook message. LOL. :')
Anyways, we headed to Cedar Creek Falls to go swimming first! Alec, Anh & Mitch jumped the fences and decided to go down to the rocky areas. Thinh & I stayed behind because we're pussies and its illegal. Then, we turned around and saw this old man in a collared khaki shirt with some logo on it... so we assumed that he was a park ranger! We got them to hide behind this massive rock for a few minutes. Then that old man walked past us and started speaking german... AHAH. False alarm. It was just a tourist!
We finally made it down to the swimming holes and it was slippery as alskfj because of the moss! We were rebel, so we climbed down the rocks all the way to the bottom. Stayed down there and chilled for quite some time before climbing back up and chilling at the top.
At about 2pm we drove back up the mountain and did one of the hiking tracks. We saw rock wallabies, which are apparently rare, according to Alec. They were the cutest little things! Headed to the lookout where we took pictures. I got made fun of my smile throughout the whole day. I am not photogenic, therefore, I do not look good at all in photos. I have like, the seediest smile ever! Alec did a hand stand on the fence and he fell off... Within that split second, I swear I thought he was gonna tumble all the way down to the bottom. But you know, he's a gymnast, so he knows how to land... After that, we headed to this area that had such a pretty view! Took some more photos before heading back up.
So we dropped off Alec & Thinh, went to pick up Anh's brother and headed to Sunnybank. Waited for like 1.5 hours for Alec & Thinh to come back so we could have dinner. Since we're all indecisive, we used my trusty phone app and let it decide where to eat! Ended up at The Cube hotpot. I'm pretty sure we all made use of the, 'all you can eat'. :P.
